SIX years ago, Lauren Tse discovered Aaron Kwok's music and has been
a fan ever since.
This 28-year-old from the UK, who is working in Singapore, finally
had a moment with her man.
When she joined the 2,500 people gathered at Suntec City's Fountain
of Wealth, she didn't know she would end up with an autograph, a
handshake and a short chat with the man of her dreams.
Lauren was thrilled.

"He's very big with the Chinese community in the UK."
She gushed: "He's so good-looking!"
On the other end of the spectrum was a woman in her 30s. With a
little boy, she went up to the stage to get an autograph. That done, she
turned around and shouted to Aaron in Cantonese: "Don't think so highly
of yourself!"
In the midst of the noise (his CD was playing in the background),
Aaron just smiled at her. I doubt if he heard anything.
Then the woman stormed off.
Aaron's fans had started queueing since 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.
Two hours later, about 550 people gathered.
Aaron asked them to dance the Para Para with him. But though they
cheered him on, they stood still. Maybe they were afraid of losing their
spot in the queue.
When 93.3FM DJ Dasmond Koh, the host of the event, pointed out a
small group of fans doing the Para Para dance, Aaron craned his neck to
take a peek. I'm sure fans who were trying to catch Aaron's attention
wished they had danced too.
Despite having to rush off at 8pm to catch a flight home, Aaron kept
his word about signing autographs for each and everyone who had a copy
of his current album Xin Tian Di (New World).
Aaron finally left Suntec City at 8.25pm in a mad rush.
No doubt, last night Aaron displayed his best asset - being a pop
superstar.
